i do believe this guyy is brass!
some stunning etching going on. 
the perfect thing to store equally as special of things inside.

Q-tips & cotton balls would be cool stored in here as there are two separate sections. & also the obvious jewellery holder. 
pens & pencils for a desk also. 
 
he does close although for a moment you think he can't but indeed he CAN !!
handle cannot/ doesn't stay upright, but who needs the handle upright anyway?
& lollll our legs are uneven or crooked but somehow we still stand straight. EEEEP
